Taylor Wong has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He started at the age of twelve while playing his mothers acoustic and gradually became more comfortable at the guitar.

After a couple years of playing at home his mother decided to enroll Taylor into Stairway To Stardom an awarding winning music program for young non-professional musicians. He participated in this program for three summers and his band that year won the contest. From his band winning this program he was able to participate in meeting and opening for musicians like Timothy B. Schmit (The Eagles), Dick Dale, Todd Lewis (The Toadies), and many others.

After Taylor’s band had won he started coaching for Stairway To Stardom and he coached till he started to attend Berklee College of Music. At that time he studied with musicians from the Stairway to Stardom program such as Pauly Parker, Larisa Bryski, Tommy Armstrong and many others

Taylor, started his music education at Berklee College of Music in 2012.  He has a Bachelors degree in Songwriting and has been taught by some of the best musicians in the world including Bruce Bartlett, Thadeus Hogarth, Jim Peterson, and many others.

Taylor at this time studied with guitar funk, blues, jazz, rock, contemporary music, pop, metal, and many other styles.
